After years of raising and working with vulnerable young people, I have mastered the ability to detangle various complex difficulties that have the same presentations. I am neurodiverse (AuADHD & PDA) myself, with extraordinary abilities that have served my family, biological children, foster children, schools and the local authority extremely well. 

My mind sees individuals in a way that most don’t, I can look beyond the behavioural lens and deliver therapeutic interventions that create positive change. I can manage extreme behaviours with huge risk and ensure a good outcome. 

I don’t think there is much left that I haven’t seen or dealt with over the years. I’ve been working as a DBT therapist, ADHD and Life Coach for the past couple of years, alongside fostering and raising my children with Autism, ADHD and PDA - different presentations. The more complex the child the more joy my work brings me. I’m led by injustice and seeing children being misunderstood and under represented.

I want to bridge gaps between home, schools and professionals, and advocate for those whose behavioural voice is not heard. When a child’s behaviour is being expressed, that usually indicates that they are not as old as their bodies. However that doesn’t mean they less than perfect, in fact those very children usually have much higher abilities than those who are neurotypical.
