About

Backing Brilliance’s mission is to help as many people and businesses as possible, who have barriers to work and success, with a specific interest in helping those who have neurodiversity. We are firm believers that for people and businesses to transcend, there must be a thorough analysis of actual human need for each individual. Only when this profiling is complete, can people, businesses or institutions go on to correctly match their identity to a place of work, and achieve above and beyond.

Backing Brilliance was founded by Danielle Cook whose working life has been in both business and fostering of vulnerable looked after children who have complex difficulties. Danielle felt frustrated that it took 3 years to support one vulnerable child to heal and excel, and that led her to look at her formula to success. Danielle has spent the last 3 years establishing her formula and she realised that regardless of setting, the same principles were needed regardless of the sector. Danielle has successfully mastered a robust profiling system that can now match people to people, child to carers, teachers to children and husbands to wives. Once the data is collected, strategies can be put in place to ensure positive and productive relationships for all, and that each person has all their individual needs met to enable self-actualisation.

The Backing Brilliance team is made up of some of the most outstanding professionals across many fields. Those that work closest with Danielle are…

Benjamin Tutt

Hi, I am Ben and 29 years old and a jack of all trades, largely because I’m designed by my ADHD. I was diagnosed only this year with Autism as well, and my specialist interest is helping others find ways through what’s difficult and building websites. My working life has been centred around supporting both adults and children and I am now well versed with regards to Neurodiversity. I have spent the last 3 years supporting foster children with severe complex needs and it has taught me more about life than all those years prior.

Mentoring children who struggle to trust, form attachments, to believe in themselves or behave appropriately has been a privilege. I’ll not pretend its not been EXTREMELY challenging, but when these children can move forward, it was worth all the pain that was thrown my way. I am resilient and therapeutic by nature, no matter how big the behaviour my response will always be, connection before correction. I also am very passionate about supporting foster carers, they largely do not get the support they need to do the amazing job they set out to achieve…..they really are modern day heroes!
