This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you when you use this course platform and our website. Your data will be used for the purposes of managing our service to you providing you with access to our online consultation platform. 

Backing Brilliance will not share your data with any other third party. We will, from time to time, contact you about our services and any changes or additions to your e-learning courses.

We take your privacy extremely seriously and will never sell lists or email addresses.

What information do we collect about you?

  • Personal details when you sign up for and use our online course platform, which is thinkfic.

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site www.backingbrilliance.co.uk (“our site“);

  • Details you provide when enrolling with us. 

  • If you contact us by sending us an email or communicate with us in anyway including telephone calls, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

  • Full Name – will be used to identify you in communications.

  • Title – will be used to identify you in communications.

  • Email address – will be used to allow for the delivery of communications with you via the system. If your domain is associated with a company this will also tie you as an individual to the company entry. 

  • Phone number – will be used in cases where telephone support is requested or considered advantageous.

  • Company – will be used to tie individuals to companies for purposes of reporting on training undertaken and completed.

Company Information:

  1. Company Name – will be used to identify the company for communications and for reporting on services used.

  2. Additional course purchases – will be used to identify when your services renew or expire.

  3. Notes – where we may populate information about the services you have with thinkific and communications to date.

  4. Purchase history

Who has access to the systems and your individual or company details?

The data that we collect from you is never transferred outside of the European Economic Area (the “EEA”)We are also compliant with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. 

  • Each individual company who purchases a training package assigns an internal administrator. They have access to the data for their company only and can see the data we hold including, names, email address and status of training undertaken.

​How will we use the information about you?

  • We collect information about you to set up your account in our online consultancy platform  and provide access to the training courses, manage your account and, if you agree, to email you about other services we think may be of interest to you. We will not share your information with any other companies or organisation.

Access to your information and correction

  • You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email or write to us at the following address. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate. If your data changes, for example, if you have a new email address), then you are responsible to notifying us of these changes.
